We are a family owned business who manufacture all types of blinds from our base in Galashiels. Owners Chris Maher, wife Caroline and daughter Kayleigh are experts in all aspects of window blinds. Zest Blinds is the retail arm of the very successful trade only company Dash Components.
After supplying components systems and fabrics to 100’s of blind companies across the UK, we decided to open a factory shop for local households and businesses to buy blinds at realistic prices.
Zest Blinds invest in staff and the local community – over 90% of all blinds supplied are made in Selkirk.
Chris started in his Father’s blind manufacturing company in 1980 and has made Zest Blinds the most competitive blind company in the borders. We will give advice for free onsite, or at your home or premises. Zest will arrive on time, on the day arranged and we can give 2 hour timed slots or meet on site. We are not a franchise, a franchise is set up to extract maximum profit for minimum effort.
We do not have any staff on commission, it is counter productive and not geared for customer service.

Members must adhere to the BBSA code of conduct and be recommended by another member blind company. Your company must be registered business with 3 years audited accounts, insured and pass a personal inspection. We enjoy many BBSA benefits and services which you as a customer will in turn benefit from.
